Set up RX IPTV on Android TV, Google TV & Android Box

Install RX on Android TV, Google TV, NVIDIA Shield and boxes.

Step

Install Downloader

Open the Google Play Store on your TV, search for Downloader by AFTVnews and install it.

Step

Allow it to install apps

Open Settings → Apps → Security & restrictions → Unknown sources and switch on Downloader. On Google TV this is under System → Developer options or Apps → Security.

Step

Download RX

Open Downloader, select the address box, type 0000000 and press Go.

Step

Install and sign in

Choose Install, then Open. Enter your username and password and your channels load.

Tip

On an Android phone or tablet you can skip Downloader: open our App page in Chrome, tap Download, then open the file and allow Chrome to install it.

If something goes wrong

I cannot find Unknown sources

Each brand hides it in a slightly different place. Search your Settings for “unknown” or “install apps”.

Play Protect warns me

Choose Install anyway. The warning appears for any app installed outside the Play Store.
