From the home screen open Settings → My Fire TV. If you do not see Developer Options, open About, highlight your Fire TV name and press the select button 7 times until it says you are a developer.
Go back to the home screen, choose Find → Search and type Downloader. Pick the orange Downloader app by AFTVnews and select Get or Download.
Open Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options → Install unknown apps and switch Downloader to ON. On older Fire TVs this setting is called Apps from Unknown Sources.
Open Downloader, allow access to files if asked, then click the address box and type 0000000. Press Go. The RX app downloads automatically.
When the install screen appears choose Install, then Done. Downloader offers to delete the APK file: choose Delete twice to free up space. You will not need it again.
Open RX from Your Apps & Channels. Enter the username and password from your welcome message. Channels and the TV guide load in under a minute the first time.
Hold the Home button and choose Apps, then move RX to the front row so it is one click away.
Check that Downloader is switched ON under Install unknown apps, and that your Fire TV has at least 500 MB free storage (Settings › My Fire TV › About › Storage).
Type the code again carefully. If it still fails, type the full address shown on our App page instead.
